If you’re renting an RV for the first time and planning to camp at a campground or RV park, getting your rented RV setup at a site can seem daunting. But don’t worry, with a little preparation and some basic knowledge, you’ll be able to set up your RV quickly and easily. Here’s a guide to help you set up your rented RV at a campsite:

1. Choose Your Site Carefully

When you arrive at the campground or RV park, take some time to choose your site carefully. If at all possible, look for a level, shady spot that’s close to the amenities you need, such as bathrooms, showers, and electrical hookups.

2. Level Your RV

Once you’ve chosen your site, it’s time to level your RV. Our RVs come equipped with leveling jacks, which can be extended to level the RV. Your specific RV will have instructions included on how to level the RV.

3. Connect to Electrical Hookups

Next, you’ll want to connect your RV to the electrical hookups. Our RVs have a power cord that can be plugged into a designated electrical outlet at the campsite. Make sure to turn off the electrical breaker on your RV before plugging in the cord.

If your campsite has water and sewer hookups, you can connect your RV to them. Connect your RV’s water hose to the designated water hookup and your RV’s sewer hose to the sewer hookup. Make sure to wear gloves when handling the sewer hose to prevent contamination.
